Still Crazy After All These Years…
This is my very first blog post. And I feel that I need to ask just one question, “What am I doing here?”
It is kind of a long story, but to keep it short, let’s just say that after 20 plus years of running a successful business with over 800 clients, a couple of my partners got into trouble with the tax people. In a futile effort to convince me to help with their prosecution, the tax guys destroyed my business. Nice folks. ’nuff said.
Now here I am trying to build another business from the ground up. I’ve been working on it for some time now and feel like an idiot when I have to admit I’ve had no real success. I have purchased just about everything under the sun with the hopes that each one would be the magic bullet. They never have been.
I seriously wondered if it was me or if I was just bound to fail. Then I would read another story where some, excuse the expression, “Geek” had just made his second million online. What was I doing wrong? When I looked around, I would see more and more people just like me buying more and more products thinking this will be the one thing that would finally create their success story.
Well, I finally made the switch from buying promises to getting real help. Now I would like to share some of the things I am learning along the way. After spending enough to earn a medical degree, I will take the role of Doctor Newbie. No medical advice, but stories, experiences and the truth about what I learn.
Hopefully, together we can share ideas and help each other along the way. The one thing that I am convinced of is that there is plenty of room for a lot of people in the internet arena.
Maybe I am still crazy, but I know I can do it and I believe you can too, with the the right attitude and some good people sharing ideas. I am currently being mentored by some of the best people in the business; Alex Jeffries, Michael Cheney, Alex Goad, Jeff Johnson and Jeff Walker to name a few. I am finally beginning to move forward.
Come back often and I will share top ideas and bits of wisdom that I learn. I will provide analysis of the programs and products that I find helpful. Most importantly, I will keep you up to date on my progress. You too can share your thoughts too and together we help each other make it to the top. No hype, no miracle cures. Just common sense and straight forward talk.
